Applying the nail care tips below will help you maintain your fingernails in prime condition. As our fingernails are so noticeable and convey a message about us to everyone we meet, it is essential we take just a little time and educate ourselves on how to care for them well. What follows is a list of nail care tips divided into do's and don'ts.

I have very nice nails ,what i do is place a bowl with some virgin olive oil in a microwave let it heat for a few second take it out put my finger in the bowl to soak for like ten minutes ,i do this regularly.

I like that idea, I wonder how it would work on the actual palms as well. I am always washing my hands and they can get so dry. I may try this one, so thanks !!

Golden Girl

I like the idea as well, I use extra virgin olive oil for my skin and hair sometimes, but I never really considerd soaking my fingers in the warm olive oil. Seems like a great idea for feet too..

My Current Skin Lightening Regimen Is:
Neutrogena Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub (cleanser)
Tretinoin/Retin-A 0.05% (exfoliant)
All Day Chemist Hq 4% (lightener)
RX Suncare: Sport Sunblock SPF 50 (sunblock)

Honestly, I do not really pay that much attention to my nails because I have small nails and putting some polish to it does not fit its look.

Have you ever tried a french polish? I think it suits a lot of people and it doesn't matter if your nails are short.

Beautiful, natural nails require care and proper manicuring. Here are some nail care tips helpful to your nails that look beautiful and stay looking fresh longer.

1.If you wear nail polish on a regular basis, take them off for a day or two every week, in order to let your nails breath.
2.Add shine to your nails by massaging coconut oil or castor oil on to them.
3.If you do not like nail polish, apply dry soap to your nail and buff or use lemon peel for a similar result.
4.Dip a cotton-tipped swab in hydrogen peroxide to clean beneath the nails and whiten them.
5.Before giving yourself a manicure, dip your nails in a cup of warm water with one spoon of lemon juice.
6.Put your fingertips in half a lemon and twist your finger back and forth to clean the nails and cuticles.
