I wanted to know if anyone has used Mally make up. I keep seeing her promotions on QVC and have been tempted to try it out but I hate buying things and being disappointed when it arrives. Supposedly she works on some of the top US celebs and her make up is "bullet"proof. I am really interested in her 24/7 instant erase concealer which is supposed to be waterproof. I have been looking for something with more staying power to use around my eyes. Her mascara looks great too.

I haven't used her products but I have seen the promotions. I find that QVC can be a bit hit or miss and they are not necessarily value for money. The only good thing is that you have the option to return if not happy and only lose shipping plus the cost of return shipping. I came across a couple of reviews and I know that the QVC website also have customer feedback so make sure you check them out before you go ahead.

though they may not talk specifically about the product it may give an idea about the quality. If you do decide to try it out you should let us know what you think.

Never heard of it but if it works let me know. I am looking for something really durable as well. I sometimes use dermablend which does last but sometimes I think it looks a little cakey if you get what I mean

@ Gothqueen, thanks for the links. yes I have been waiting for more reviews from the QVC website but not many coming through. I have actually decided to buy it so fingers crossed I won't be disappointed. I just find that sometimes it can be so hard to get a god match when you are a woman of colour. Only certain companies get it right. I know that I have tried a l'oreal true match product that seems to blend really well into your skin tone but it didn't quite give the coverage for my dark circles which is what I am looking for. I don't wear foundation or concealer anywhere apart from around my eyes and blended slightly down my nose

@ yogi yes definitely. Must always share a good thing !!! I had thought about dermablend but I can't seem to get hold of it anywhere in the UK. I think someone told me that it had been discontinued.

Did you go for the mascara then? Dermablend was taken over by Vichy. They changed their colours and the product is now much smaller but still quite expensive in my opinion. I have tried so hard to get hold of the sample products but they are always sold out so it is difficult to try and find out what is the best colour match and there are a lot more shades on offer.

Have been using the mally products for a week or so and must say I am fairly impressed. It goes on much better than my previous concealer and I think it looks ok several hours after application. The only thing is that the colour that I selected seems a little dark on me so I have ordered the colour that Mally says that she uses, which is a bit of a surprise because she looks very light to me. It may be a case that I have to blend the 2 shades together to get the best match but i like how it sinks into my skin and blends easily.

The mascara is nice but I have tried products just as good so may not reorder that.

No worries. I cant recommend a shade beause as I mentioned the "rich" which is supposed to be for medium black complexions looks a little dark on some areas of my face. The "tan" which has just arrived seems to sink in but may be a little bit light in some areas though blends in other areas. I sound like a patchwork quilt lol.So I am mixing the two together in some areas. I don't mind that I have had to buy two colours though as I really like how it blends in.

See now that's what I don't like about the dermablend. It just looks a bit caked on. I don't know why because I don't put a lot on. I need to look into this mally more

Oh it's the top one I have been trying out. Though I will be buying the other as well. I was totally confused thinking why does she need 2 but the other one is supposed to be budge proof and waterproof once you use the setting powder and I may start swimming again. That is provided I can find a decent swimming hat. Can't be having any chlorine on my hair !!! Have been searching on ebay so maybe I will find something I like

I did not appreciate the mascara until I decided to try out another brand and the effect was so miniscule in comparison. I will be reordering the mascara even though I don't like the price much. But you get what you pay for I suppose
