Please only answer if you have accurate answers!

Question #1- What do you recommend as a fast working skin lightener. I know that each person may have a different review so I appreciate all suggestions.

Question #2- Which sunscreen do you recommend to protect skin from darkening? Specifically name the brand and spf number.

Question #3- Do you mix Retin-A with the skin lightener or do you apply it before?

Question #4- Name a good whitening soap.

Question #5- Is it good to mix different skin lighteners?

If you can't answer all questions then just answer the ones that you can. THANKS!

#1- Nothing is going to lighten fast like steroids. Also you won't have to redarken as quick either. I think patience is important when it comes to lightening. Some using Nadinola and exfoliating are claiming results. Heres more lighteners [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

#2- Around spf 50 or anything higher should work fine. Aveeno and Neutrogena people usually mention that they use. Also, La Roche Posay sublock is one of the best too and my favorite.

#3- You don't have to use retin-A to lighten. Just a good exfoliator, this is just one of them that's used. Some here already mentioned that they would use their retin-a or some other exfoliator, mix it and their lightener the palm of their hands then rub, or some just squeaze the retin-a in their lightener and mix. It's up to you really, more of a personal choice.

#4- Some good whitening soaps are mentioned already, heres the link [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

#5-Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Because depending on the lightener, some ingredients once mixed can make it work less or better, or nothing at all but wasted money.

I hope this helped some. I'm sure the others will come in soon to offer more to help.

I'll give you the answer that I can give, but I can't sa what will work for you just because it works great for someone else. you'll have to try them out and see how they work on you. papaya soap or scrubs are good with removing dead skin but not really whitening so much, just help with the process. Neutrogena sunblok is good. Mixing different lighteners sometimes not good because they might get watered down instead of more concentrated like some think. But, it depends on what's being mixed?

I have tried a few of the Coopertone sunblocks and in my experience the sport performance and spray-on versions are not effective.

I would recommend the Neutrogena (45) for your face and Banana Boat (100) for your body.

Ok, I purchased the Banana Boat sunscreen as well as the (JAMAICAN VERSION) of Nadinola today. Will keep you posted on the results! I am using this on my butt, now if it lightens that then it's Heaven sent.

Ya, know, I've considered the dangers of Mercury but the last time I used a product named "Mercury" I lightened well, very fast...and the skin color lasted a while. I've tried many lighteners and have been many different shades. See a collections of pictures of me showing different skin tones:

Shanice I do remember your posts and very very cute pics before. I am sure you have already researched and know the dangers in using these type of products and YES it is very easy to want to try something that you know has given you intense lightening in the past, but have you tested the US version to see if it can help you reach your goal ? I can see that you are a very pretty young lady and I would hate to see you do something now that you may regret later. I am guessing that you will be using it for a short period ?

Whatever you decide, I truly wish you the best of luck and please let us know how you get on hun

Hi, yes, I used it for a short period of time. What are all of the dangers of Mercury? Besides the Ovaries irritants, what else?

Oh and the US version of Nadinola did not help me.

Here is some info that I have found and the links if you want to read further

Mercury

  1. The immediate side effects of mercury-based products include rashes and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] irritation. The long-term effects, however, are even more dangerous, and nearly impossible to reverse; continued exposure to mercury has been shown to cause brain damage, kidney problems, speech and hearing impediments, and damage to the nervous system.

Women, especially pregnant and nursing mothers, who use these creams are at risk of mercury toxicity because long-term exposure can cause permanent neurological damage, nephrological disorders, fertility problems, and birth defects

Our data indicate that dermal exposure to mercury can result in a significant accumulation in the ovaries of mice following the application of skin-lightening cream. This may cause alterations in reproductive behavior and contribute to infertility or ovarian failure

By the way shanice, some people have found using Retin A with the Nadinola (US version) has helped with their lightening. Not sure if you have tried it this way.

Your a really pretty girl Shanice! Please listen to Maharani's wisdom!! Even GG use hq nadinola & retin a on some areas of her body and there are other choices to lighten. Mercury seeps inside your brain and other parts of your body. I know your going to do as you like since the choice is yours, but first read the consequences of using this and damage it will definitely do to internally. There are other options....

Nadinola Hq 4% and retin-a has helped lighten my ears, neck, and the scars on my arms have been fading. It isn't a swift process, but it does work better when using an exfoliant to help remove dead skin cell build up and for the lightening agents to penetrate deeper. If retin-a isn't an option, theres also lactic acid peels and Maharani is using another form of vitamin A that exfoliates and is more gentle.

Yes I have used adapalene, which is a much gentler form of Retin A and it causes much less peeling. But as it is for your butt, then I am sure Retin A and a series of Lactic acid peels would work very nicely on this area.
Again, we are not here to lecture you and you are free to choose the way you want to go, so just let us know what you decide and how you get on. Take care [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
