This product seems to have both positives and negatives, and I have been lurking their site for the past 2.5 years now. I am wondering how much of their "new formula" has been improved and if they have come out to explain their situations. If anyone has tried, or know anyone who has tried their products, please post any experiences and thoughts about Pure Perfect.

Before & After Pics Of Sorisha Naidoo From Using Previous Pure Perfect Products

My personal thoughts: Well, looking at Sorisha's before after photos are quite dramatic and seem to have much potential to help anyone with achieving their goals at any level, which makes it tempting for many. But, I personally like her before photo more than the after, as her after photo has a very vampire-like appearance and in my opinion had lightened too much which blended poorly with her features...well, at least by looking at this specific pic it looks this way to me. Along with their poor customer service I had experienced from them in the past, still somewhat high prices (although quite cheaper than some in the US), their limited locations of customer base to serve, and previous formulation concerns with an imbalance to the skin (Possibly due to excessive amounts of AHA acids and...did they not have Sepiwhite as an active ingredient before? if I'm correct I am almost sure of this, but I may be incorrect... which should not be applied at such high levels, as well as unstable formulations) but no, it does not contain any form of steroids and was sent in for testing and proved as clear. But, here is the article below and feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on your experiences with this.

"Pure Perfect skin-lightening cream being tested after users complained cream destroyed their skin"...?

I personally feel that this product has a lot of good potential as they are perfecting the product and it obviously lightens quite well. Again, please be cautious listening to suspicious members throughout forums and blogs posing under various false aliases stating that they are from South Africa &/or the U.S. or that they have a "friend" using the product and producing false claims, fake identities and comments, and fabricated truths.

If you wish to learn more about Pure Perfect please contact them directly. Below is an honest and descriptive letter written by Pure Perfect themselves:

It is with great interest that I have been following all forums and blogs commenting on Pure Perfect, but I draw the line on this one when two mweb users purposely pose as Sue and Sorisha, the long and short of this whole mess has finally been put to rest and yet we tirelessly endure the same conversations over and over again. The story started 6 years ago when the Fair and Flawless product was imported into the country by our company Pure Perfect based in South Africa. We then discontinued the product after many years due to skin thinning, and launched a new product, this product did not work as effectively as the original and many people were angry and upset with the company, their skin reverted to their original colour and they made claims of skin being burnt, this caused dermatologists in Durban to test the product which led to an article in the Sunday Times Extra, in which the product was being probed for Hydroquinone, we have since had the past and present versions of the American product tested and come clear for the presence of hydroquinone. We are still awaiting the dermatologists results as well as the Sunday Times conclusion, which has been avoided since the probe almost two months ago. After contacting the US company we have come to an agreement to tweak the product, which means the fruit acid concentration has been lowered. We will not entertain any further comments on blogs and forums but welcome you to write to us at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].za if you require further information. Thank you to Hessa for creating these opportunities for many to share and comment.

From what I read the real Sorisha is the Indian actress, but who is Sue? And so, who posed as Sue and Sorisha then?

Post on Thu Apr 22, 2010 11:21 pm by Kandiluv

Most likely of a person named nikkicute, i'm not telling where. you'll have to read the sellers blog.

So what are all of the ingredients in the new pure perfect?

Post on Thu Apr 22, 2010 11:23 pm by Kandiluv

it is a huge difference in skin color change, almost looks like a different person.

Post on Fri May 07, 2010 10:20 pm by Alizee love

I think she looks a little natural but I don't know how her eyes changed color unless their contacts.
I wonder how long the color will last

Post on Fri May 07, 2010 11:25 pm by Golden Girl

Yeah, their contacts.
How long-lasting the results? I'm unsure, since the formula I believe has been reformulated recetly a third time.

Post on Sat May 08, 2010 1:10 am by Alizee love

Ugh I hate that every company keeps reformulating, if it isn't broke don't fix it.

I am still on the fence with what I want but am torn between: mq 10% or more, hq 4%, this productl or makari.
I would use all of these daily after I have showerd with kojic soap or papaya soap

Well I tried the parfait and while I think it may have helped my over all skin tone, I saw no lighting Sad.

Post on Wed Mar 16, 2011 12:17 pm by KIM

is that the pure perfect or fair and flawless version? are they different?

Post on Wed Mar 16, 2011 1:12 pm by Alizee love

Fair and Flawless let's people put their own label on their products which is what Sorisha Naidoo did with Pure Perfect.

Post on Wed Mar 16, 2011 4:58 pm by yogi

Did you buy it from F & F or from the south African pure perfect? I thought that she altered the formulation and made the south African version stronger and then changed it back

Post on Wed Mar 16, 2011 6:58 pm by Alizee love

Yeah first it was really strong and then she made it weaker and now its supposed to be strong like the first formulation but gentler like the second batch.

Mine was from FF

Wow.. my first impression of this her was that the lightening was drastic but it is eventoned and natural. The contacts thru me off a bit.. How many shades of lightening did she achieve? (Just out of curiosity)

My goodness that is drastic !! She looks super dooper pale like she has no blood in her.
