First of all let me explain why I have been looking into this. My cousin has been telling my Mum that his wife has been diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis.

I was then researching on it so I could explain to my Mum a bit more about it and Lo and behold I came across info that one of the factors that may bring it on, (though NOT always ) is a lack of viatmin D. NOw most of us obtain viamin D from sunlight and there are foods that are a source. But if you are anything like me who toatally covers up and wears sunblock, then the amount of vitamin D obtained from the sunlight is going to minimal. I have therefore decided to start taking supplements and looking into what foods are a good source as there seems to be a whole host of other illnesses that are linked to this lack of vitamin D

Well to be honest I knew a while back that not getting much sun exposure could mean not getting sufficient vit D but never really took it seriously till I was researching something that I thought was totally unrelated and was shocked at how many illnesses can be cuased buy not having enough. I have some drops that I know contain Vit D and am also making sure I am more regular taking my fish oils as well, as I am not a great fish eater. Hopefully this will help others. I would hate that we are trying to avoid the sun and then get needlessly ill when there is somehting that can be easily done to rectify it

Wow I never even realised that. I do eat fish and dairy so hopefully I am not lacking by a lot but I will look into supplements just in case.

great topic to bring up. I have been taking fish suplememts for a while and vit D because I was aware that avoiding the sun certainly meant I was missing out of getting vitamin D naturally. However I was not aware how many illnesses may be attributed to lacking it so thank you for making sure that I now keep it up
