I need help with this itching, it is driving me mad! It's just the inner thighs and near my hips along with the inner part of my elbows. What is cost effective and will not significantly slow down my results? I feel like I've been sleeping with bugs! Remember I'm using my MQ, Ra with eucerin.

I know that Ra made me itch a lot. When I apply the mq an ra to my arm it itches quite often too as the dried skin begins o flake off. What I found to really help was a little neoprosone to help with the itching, dryness, and irritation. But I keep it at a minium and use it sparingly.

I have replied to you in your thread but here it again.

I know what you mean, I use to scratch until I become sore, you can use antihistamine treatment for itching, they give them to children Benadryl (Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride) is the standard oral antihistamine that most parents use when their kids are itching. It is available over-the-counter The only downsides are that Benadryl is short-acting (about 4-6 hours) and can make kids very sleepy. My friend advised me to use it but I stopped retin a, and now I am fine and also my other mix which contained solvents was increasing it, just reading your post made me itch. You can otherwise use creams like E45 or antihistamine creams when you are not using your MQ.

Thanks GG and Sara. I am so afraid of taking the benadryl during the days because I have to be alert at work and supervising 40 people is not fun either! Last night was not too bad but this morning I just want to run somewhere and scratch the sweetness out of the itch! LOL. I will look into the possibilities before I go nuts from itching.

Is there a daytime benadryl? Whichever you decide, you may want to try the options one by one so you'll know which is beneficial or not. Hope the itchies stop soon.

Oh lord I started itching this morning lol, darn it allure you just passed it on lol.

Seriously though I couldn't find benadryl so I got some calomine(sp) lotion and so far the itching has stopped; I think the f&f did it.

Also you could try cortizon cream

Active Ingredients:Calamine (6.971%) (skin protectant), Zinc Oxid Ingredie Calamine (6.971%) (skin protectant)

I remember my mother using this when I was a child for bug bites, it's very gentle and it has a smell but a very slight one and not chemicalish but not really scented either

Alizee I know about the calamine but its the darn color (whitish pinkish) residue that I am afraid of! Sorry hon I didn't mean to pass on my woes. lol. I try to scrub the darn skin really good and not using anything else, during the day I am fine, a little itching now and again but EGAD at nights I just want to scratch the crap out of my crap! LOL. For the past 2 days though it hasn't been so bad. I am trying to resist scratching the itch. Tonight I will soak my worries away again and scrub. Scrubbing really helps by the way. Oh did you guys know that dead skin can actually make you itch?? Okay, I don't have scientific proof (or is there)? But from past experiences when I go without exfoliating, my skin would itch like mad! I have tried that before, and then exfoliate to prove my theory...was I right or what!

Yes I have read that dead skin cells can make you itch. I myself believe it's all the chemicals we are putting on the skin that may cause the itching because it does make the skin sensitive, it could also be allergies.

The calomine rubs in very well and if I were you I would put it on every night after showering

Trust me it's not good. It's like I have an itching disease that will not get better, like the plague or something! OMG... I can't wait to get back into the groove of things though. LOL. I have enjoyed my journey and my experience. Skin is looking d **n good! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Glad to hear that you are seeing pleasant results, even though the itchiness hasn't stopped yet. My elbow has been itching as well, but the new skin is smoother and some lightness as well.

LOL. I do 45 - 90 minutes in the mornings. At nights I will work out with hubby. We will do anywhere from 30-60 minutes and it all depends. It's an addiction once you get into the groove of it.

Yeah I've found someone else as addicted as me lol.
On the weekdays I get up at five then do two hours of pilates and other various exercises, then I go for a jog and start my day lol. Now I can only do that when I do not have classes and now that I'm finished with finals I can do that? On days I do have classes I simply do the two hours of pilates but no jog. Sunday is my rest day- sort of. I usually get up at seven and do one hour of pilates then jog for about an hour. Now every other night I take my dance lessons, right now I'm doing the stripper pole classes lol
