Anyone on here been using it for six months or more. I think I read somewhere where it may have more lasting results than hydroquinone?

Yasmynn,

I was also going to ask how long you had been using the MQ. I didn't realise you were trying this out. I did use mine for a couple of months and I did see some brightening and some days when I looked quite pale for some reason, but other than that I just understand that this MQ is indeed a very slow process. The only people who seem to have seen anything quicker, mixed it with other lightening agents.

i'v been using mq since june 16
2 months and 6 days
i like the results and have gotten lighter but at the same time theres always something causing slight hypergimentation but you have to know how to prevent it.

every time i think i know how to stop it, something else causes it.
just found out dry skin is causing it this time, but it's going down

I guess the main thing is that you are working out what works best for you and therefore comabatting any problems that arise. It can be tough and it feels like you have to be constantly on your toes with this lightening lark, I know. Main thing is that there has been a positive change !!!

Well I had thought you meant some new cream or some such thing. It seems there are so many creams, lotions and serums, it gets to be more of a bother

So nothing significant? I know mq takes a good three months to see lighting but I thought you were really peeling and such at first. Has it lessend?

yeah, i was peeling a lot at first but not so much now. i use it twice a day but if nothing amazing happens in the next month i'll pull it down to once at night and use hq in the morning.

mq isn't bad enough to stop and it's not good enough to use on it's own.

I know some have said they used hq first and then used the mq and they were able to keep their new shade.

I myself don't like wasting money on ten different creams I have to some how use at the same time to get nice skin. I'm just not that into beauty products lol. I also can't afford to buy loads of stuff, hence why I never tried makari
