1 when do you use sunscreen on Wed Aug 25, 2010 2:34 pm

Now that the weather is changing over in the uk I am wondering whether you still need to be wearing sunblock when it is so cloudy. I definitely don't wear it when it's raining, but do you still continue in the winter? I just hate putting the stuff on all the time.

Being a bit paranoid of the sun I am a religious user of sunscreen. My understanding is that even if it is cloudy the UV rays are still able to do their damage. In the winter you can always use a moisturiser with a lower spf, but even the snow can reflect rays etc. No sense undoing any hard work you have done to lighten and your also protecting your skin in addition against the aging process.

Thanks kim. I suppose I will have to be more diligent with my application. Just hate slapping the stuff on all the time.
