I'm planning on buying some mequinol and wonder what those who've tried it think makes the best base creme..

I've been going through posts and testimonials from different forums and came to the conclusion that for it to be most effective a good lotion or moisturizer is also needed, possibly because this allows the new lighter pig skin layers to develop without getting dried out by the retin-A.

I'm thinking about using Nivea Body lotion for dry skin mixed with Meq for body, and a good moisturizer mixed with Meq for face, using 20% strength Meq and mixing it 1:1 with the lotion to achieve 10% strength.

welcome to the board mario !! I am curious to know what you are hoping to achieve by using mq. Have you tried any other lighteners before. I remember there was a lot of interest in the this product a while back but then this died out as the progress did not seem to come or was very very very slow. Where are you getting the mq from, Goldpharma?
I guess something like nivea or eucerin should be fine. It would be great if you could let us know how you progress. Somewhere it was mentioned that it gives semi permanent results so would be good to find out

Ahhh mequinol. I had plans for this too but like Kim said, there were people saying it does not work that well. I guess it all depends where you get it from. Tell me how it goes cos I am always on the look out for something new to try
