Always good to hear people's perspectives. There is so much conflicting info, you really don't know who is right and who is wrong though. I think using everything in moderation helps. I am not sure that I would ever be comfortable using hq all over anyway.

I agree Kim. And this was very refreshing to hear. Thanks Gothqueen!!! I think the negative views on HQ was because of misuse. But like the dermatologist/doctor said if you use low levels of HQ with retinoids and use as directed it is safe to use and will have a great lightening effect.

Good luck yogi !!! You have been really patient so hopefully the wait will be worth it. I wouldn't say I have dramtaically lightened but there has been a definite lightening using hq. Mind you there are days when I think I look much lighter.

Good luck yogi. Do remember that sometimes this process can take time and it may be a few weeks before you start to see any changes. It will not act like something like F & F which you stated has steroids which will bleach the skin relatively quickly, but obviously has consequences as a result.

That is what I always think so it is interesting to hear another perspective. If you read the net most of the info involves horror stories and bans. Yet there are very feew things that are comparable unless you are willing to use steroids mercury etc. No thank you.
