Found a site that offers information on skin lightening pratcices in the UK. This may be something I look into in the future where I live. I think it would be great for body lightening

Ooh thanks for posting that info. I have always liked the idea of going to a spa and having an overall treatment. I am sure that it will cost a pretty penny though !!!

I just like the idea of going in one colour and then coming out a lighter one, if that is possible. I know I have come across American sites promising this but not sure what these clinics can offer.

I believe that it does not come cheap. I doubt they would be able to incorporate the scalp, but it would be an overall body and face lightening and they would be handy for hard to reach areas like the back.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. the scalp is usually very pale despite one's genetic skin tone...

well i do especially after seeing some of my sisters lightening their skins over the years
they got so pale and you could see a huge diference between their face and scalp..and i didnt like that i even use to tell her, i dont know it looks too fake but it also depends wat skin tone you are and some it doesnt show, but as for being in africa ive seen some really unique tones that try to be as light as rihanna and you end up seeing a huge scalp deference from their skin tone and some of them walk a lot in the sun so its worse.

I see your point and I bet that for seasoned lightening detectives this would be a dead giveaway. I would just be worried about putting chemicals on my scalp as it is so near the brain. For me as long as the face and rest of me is looking good, I don't care what the scalp is looking like Very Happy

For me it just sounds like extra work I can do without. Hopefully my hair is thick enough to cover any tell tale signs lol
