I have been looking at Fair and flawless and have also come acorss something similar but at a cheaper price. Has anyone tried this and what has been your experience? Thanks

I did make a post about this a while back. Unfortuntely for me, The tonique gel did not appear to agree with my skin and it did give me a rash, which lasted for 3 weeks after I discontinued using it and also left me with darkened skin.
It may have been a case that some of the active ingredients were too strong for my skin.

I do have to admit that I have yet to come across anyone that I can genuinely say has seen significant results and in view of the price, this is very disappointing. I am waiting to hear some feedback from some users who I am hoping will be able to provide a true testimonial as to this products's effectiveness.

Thanks for the response. I am still deciding on this or the fair & flawless. I really want to get started but don't know which to go for. I don't wanna be wasting money.

Thanks for that because I had been working out whether I should try it out or not. I thought that the price meant that I was guaranteed to see something with it. I would have been so p*ssed if I had paid all that money and saw nothing

me too! I have yet to come across any positive responses to this product so I'm grateful I did not waste my money. What I am using now does not even cost me a 10th of what I would have paid for the tonique. Oh and welcome to the board Smile

well since my fair and flawlesss disater it has been hydroquinone and retin a. I am not sure how long to keep this up as some suggest that breaks are required. There are others who have used it for years continuously with no apparent problems but I really don't know.

Well I tried hq products before but no results. What is retin a please? someone suggested that I try out a higher percentage of hq but I don't know where to get it and I read it may not be that good to use anyway

I answered the question about retin A in another thread. Finding a reliable source for high percentage hq may be difficult as there can be places that provide it but with other ingredients included that they do not disclose. Most places say that anything above 4% is generally not necessary and it may be hard to maintain if you have gone beyond that level. Unless you are planning to compound it yourself then I would stick to the 4% and below levels first and see how it works along with retin A, sun protection and a lil patience Very Happy

Beleive me we have all been there thinking we are wasting our time. It has taken me for what feels like ages to start seeing results again after makari. The good thing is that I have not seen a darn breakout on this regime and my skin is looking better than it has in ages.

The results from the ambi and retin a took about 4-5 weeks to start fading the dark marks. I think it would have been quicker if I had been able to use the retin a more regularly but I found the peeling a bit too much especially as I like to wear make up but peeling skin anad make up do not look good!!

It should mean that if you do get any peeling skin that you should be able to either apply a cream to stop the flakiness/ashiness or at least rub the flaking skin gently off with a soft/damp wipe

I agree. It will make things a whole lot easier. Even re applying sun screen will be easier for you. I only apply mine once a day and hope for the best by avoiding the sun as much as possible

I have never used tonique and like Maharani has stated, I've heard people get rashes. It seems it goes well for awhile and then bam rash, red bumps and other things strt to happen. I also can't find much information about them aside from their website.

Yogi I do remember you had started ff but I've been gone since, how did it go?

I tried the F and F and started to see lightening followed by thinning of my skin where my veins were showing through. I then found out that fair and flawless put clobestal proportionate in their products so this explained the steroid like effect. What I find really terrible is that they charge so much money for something that I could have probably achieved using cheap Bio claire for £4.99

I'm sorry to hear that, was it the f5x gel because it seems people who use that get drastic lighening but thinned skin in some areas. I see they now call it ph15 or something like that and am wondering if they have since removed clobestal, which is very alarming that they don't mention that in their ingredients list.

They probably changed the name to throw people of the scent. It has been mentioned a lot that this particular product has that strong steroid in it and maybe they are hoping that it won't throw up any red flags for anyone researching it. Lot's of companies do not state that their products contain steroids but then they don't make Big statements that their products are all natural and do not contain harmful ingredients . It's a cheap way to give rapid lightening that Fair and flawless has taken full advantaage of.
