It is supposedly an extra strength skin lightener, that is very cheap and manufactured in England. Have never personally tried it though. I don't believe the IKB necessarily stands for anything, as such, a bit like G & G H55+ etc. . I think They just have come up with a set of initials. Have been unable to find a list of ingredients, but I do worry when I see very cheap products in gel form, whether they may contain certain ingredienst that are not necessarily good.

I am trying to lighten my butt, as that part of me is significantly darker than the rest of my body. Where can I purchase IKB from?

I remember looking online after hearing about IKB gel a few days ago. It looks real shady and cheap...I agree, usually cheap lightening gels have a tendency of having some type of steroid as it's active ingredient, listed or not in the ingredient list. But, I'll also try searching for the ingredients and anything else I can find about IKB gel..

From what I have searched, the ingredients have not been mentioned, other than it contains hq. It's hard to do a clear assessment and how well it may work when ingredients are hidden and not listed, so I'm unsure if it works on lightening or not and rather not waste the cash. Usually products that do not list ingredients anywhere is a red flag that they have something intentially to hide..

Today I finally received my f&w exclusive whitenizer gel, I'll wait until I finish the first jar of nadinola and then give the f&w a try.

cynbenet, here is some info. I still have not been able to find any ingredients, so be a bit careful. If you do decide to get it, check for the ingredients once you get it.

Golden Girl, hope the nadinola is working nicely. I know a lot of people have said they really like the results with this. And yes we look forward to your review of the F & W.

I went shopping today and saw the IKB, couldn't find the gel, but had a very quick look at the ingredients and arbutin was mentioned. Could not remember more, because I did not want to loiter in the lightening section LOL

Hey I checked today at the hair store but I didn't buy the IKB. To me the ingredients look similar to that of Neoprosone, but it had Arbutine complex written on it.

Usually best to follow your instincts. When ingredients and other factors advertised or look similar to another product you prefer to stay away from, theres usually a reason for this. If arbutin or any other safe lightener ingredient are mentioned on the packaging or site..but the lightening agent is actually listed towards the bottom of the ingredient list. Then, most likely there isn't enough of that lightening agent that they are marketing to actually benefit your skin. And furthermore probably more fragrance than it is of that actual lightening agent. This is done to make more sells, that is what they call "ingredient dressing", meaning it's listed enough to be marketed..but not enough to be consisidered as effective. and if the product does lighten, it most likely isn't coming from the safe lighteners, but from something else whether that something else is mentioned or not.
