Whats the difference between monobenzone and benoquin?

Which one is stronger? Which one lasts longer?

And most importantly where can I get these creams?

All I know so far is that they are SERIOUS heavy duty creams only used by people with vitiligo. I also heard that they are permanent and takes the pigment out of your skin completely.

The generic name is monobenzone, but the brand name for mono is called benoquin. But, they are the exact same thing. Although some mono is fake, real, or mixed with other ingredients but sold as 100% pure.
Mono is a drastic and long process, taking up to 1-2 years to completely depig, dealing with white patches on parts of the body and normal pigmented skin. Using pure mono long-term it will become permanent and irreversable.

Here is some information on monobenzone:

Here were 2 articles I had found and posted a while back. It also includes a chart of the break down of how monobenzone and even hydroquinone reacts on the skin and the time frames, really useful information:

Where to get mono? The common places that I know of sell fake mono or people who had negative experiences from them.

Ok, thanks. I'll probably just stick to regular HQ or some other lightening cream.

monobenzone depigs the skin, I doubt this lightens. Serious stuff, and it can give spots in an area you never applied it too. Hydroquinone isn't the best, just that it's cheap and can give good results for most, but it can't be handled improperly.
The natural stuff that does work usually is priced very high. unless you learn to make your own.

Are you trying to totally depigment then? You have to be careful where you get it from cos I hear there are a lot of scam sites.I cannot truly vouch for them but Isis cosmeceuticals have mono I think

rlega, Mono is generally available as a prescription medicine and is indicated fo those with vitiligo. It should not be used as a general lightener because it doe not lighten but depigments and unfortunately the results may not be uniform which is why it is used for vitiligo patients who may already have patches. Unless you have extensive vitilgo then I would say do not use this. If you do have vitiligo then you can consult with your doctor who should be able to properly diagnose your condition and then prescribe legit medication

I totally agree with above ^. I have seen people who have been disfigured because of mono.
