I know some of you guys may be members of other skin care boards, but I posted this on another site and in case anyone here has not heard of it, thought it may be of interest. Not sure if the product would actually work, but I like the idea for anyone wantiing all over lightening, especially when treating hard to reach areas like the back. It also is helping to make lightening more mainstream as it brings the concept to the High street. Bit like a tanning booth, but in reverse.

Now the results look more like a mock up than anything real and I think the company should have thought harder about the results pictures. On the other board someone mentioned it was a bit Sammy Sosa. The lightening and the lip colouring definitely do not look attractive, but I still think the concept isn't a bad one. Here is a video, by the way.

oh wow, how did you find this Maharani? is this in the UK now? Ialways wondered when someone was going to come out with something similar to the tanning showers (I forget the correct name for it), but I see this being popular in the Asian countries and having them on about every corner, in the U.S. I can see people trying to bomb the place and holding boycot political signs..lol

but really interesting and an easier way for overall lightening with much potential. what are the lightening ingredients they used? as it really made him too pale and undertones werent really visible. But, if they only go up a few shades, using vitamin c serum and tumeric to help bring out the undertones, not to go too light, and he would have to lighten his lips as well and lighten his dark circles....so it will look more natural

this does look like something Sammy Sosa used...and I wouldnt be surprisedif it is! do you know how much USD it costs to have one of those in someone's house? it would be much easier to maintain too, like taking a shower.

Yes this is in the UK. Have no idea whether it actually works. The company have been careful not to state what active ingredients are in their lightening solution and have only mentioned aloe, which does not say much. I guess they want to prevent too much copycating.

From what I am uderstanding, these compnies were originally focused on tanning booths and then recognised the growing demand for skin lightening and came up with the concept. I know that there are similar places offering the same concept in the US, so don't know who came up with the idea first. I would like to think that people would accept peoples choices to lighten and hope that demonstrations would not arise from the arrival of such companies. I know whatever you do, people are going to disapprove, but then should understand that we live in a free country where we can make choices.

As I mentioned before, the before and after pictures do not look real and it would have been better if they had shown the guy in the video, after having a series of treatments. Maybe he did not follow up with further procedures, considering the reactions of his friend. But I ike the idea that they chose someone who did not look like someone who would be interested in lightening and was not a female either.

They have not stated the price of the actual spray booth but the home spray kit with the product spray and the day and night cream cost £499 which is about $800.

Thanks, I would have never guessed the U.S. would have something such as this, as the craze i all about tanning beds and such. Yes, let me know the link when you find it, I'll also should do a search as well and see what I can find.

$800 for creams...lol! wow, even £499 is so much, especially when the man's pics didn't look natural...do you think the pics were photoshopped to only show what the products can do with continued use? ....it would be nice if there was a followup. I'll check on youtube as well.

Well the $800 would be for the home spray kit and the spray solution as well as the creams, so maybe not tooooo bad if you take that into account.

I am sure the pictures are photoshopped, they just did not look natural to me. He looked almost grey to me.

I found the other website, but not actualy certain whether they are in fact based in the US. Could not work out where the telephone number provided related to, as they do not provide a company address.

Yes sometimes it feels a bit like this in the Uk. Although there is a definite interest in lightening, the products and services available do not compare to the US market and I have spent a fortune on shipping fees trying to obtain products from overseas.I do believe it will get better, though. It is too big a market for our needs to go unchecked. I do see that your present location probably means lots of purchasing online. Were you born there, then. What's it like, apart from the difficulties in getting your needs met.

In relation to the above product, there is no evidence of it's effectiveness. No real or positive before or after results and no indication of what is in their product to promote lightening. I would hold out before you invest in this product. If you are still interested, I would email the company and try to get more info. Find out what can be achieved with your particualr skin type and see if they can provide before and after pics. Just don't want you to waste any money.

lol...I feel that way sometimes that here its mainly about skin tanning, and tanning booths everywhere and tanning lotion, bronzers and such...once I tried some of the bronzer on my hand for curiosity..

yeah, I agree. although very tempting.. we still do not know how the results are, ingredients used, or if it has been effectively developed now or still in the beginning stages of it's creation..should improve overtime though. I'm guessing they must cost the same price as an expensive car over here, although I have had daydreams of having something like this in my den. sort of like a time machine

Yeah I was born here,
I have only ordered online,
all my products.
I live in a town only with super pale scandinavian people,
well there is a town for the ethnic groups
but Its a bit far away from where I live.
other then that is fine

Well Im always naive, and think this product
will work, but I should wait a couple of months,
we dont even know, what they use in their products.

I don't think it is being naive. Gosh the amount of money that I have spent on useless rubbish would scare you !! So I am the naive one here. Unfortunately there is no test that we can do before we buy to say that any particular product is going to be the perfect solution for us and it does mean that we do have to try it and see what happens. Who knows, this booth may be a great solution, but as it is so new and they don't really have their marketing quite right in terms of showing any proper results and indicating proven lightening ingredients, it needs further invesigation to see whether it is worth investing in. Maybe when I get a moment, I wll email the comapny to see if they can give more info and I will let you know.

You know, I would willingly be the next volunteer to test their products to help investigate their effectiveness if they like...
it would be interesting, because if there was an effective and affordable device to include in my home (and this being a potential some day) that would be really sweet.

Well still have not heard anything from this company. I do hope I didn't ask too many questions in my initial call back request, but it is a little strange that no one called considering I said I was interested in purchasing the home kit. I will give it a couple of more days and then try again.

Still waiting for the company to get back to me. When I have a chance I will try to email them again. Does make me concerned that if I was a customer and there was a problem, I would be waiting a very very long time for someone to get back to me.

To think that I posed as a potential customer and they have not attempted to get back in touch is JUSt plain poor customer service.

Their making themselves not look too hot right now. If they only knew how important customer service is as well as the products that are able to work. I'm going to check to see if I can find anything on youtube, and if i do I'll report back.

Well, I also had sent a message to the company 2 days ago requesting to learn more information about their products, including the lightening booth. So we'll see if they will contact one of us shortly. I had written a professional letter of business interests too, well I had attempted in doing so, but I wonder if they ignore messages from people using free email services because I had used hotmail?

Well its been a good month and a half. Have either of you gotten a response? If not this sounds suspicouslyy like that monobenzone.net......scam.

If these booths really work I doubt they would catch on in the us without people having to wear disguises like carmen san diego when they frequent them. For some reason wanting to be darker is o.k. but lightening makes you insane....*crickets*.

Have heard absolutely nothing. ........
I know what you mean about having to vist covertly. A lot of places that I have seen that seem to be offering lightening treatments always advertise the fact subtly, with words like "rejuvenating" and "brightening". It definitely is not the done thing to openly offer lightening treatments in the UK.

Yeah, secret word coding. I also recall one company a year ago mentioneding to me that to use the word "lightening" there is some sort of permission needed, at least here in the U.S. though. And to instead use words suech as brightening, rejuvenation, etc.

That's sad that the company never respnded, I hate when some companies do that.
