1 Why So Some Companies Use Toxic Ingredients? on Fri Feb 26, 2010 7:30 am

Why would many companies put things like that in their products when they already know what will happen to their customers' skin? Is using safe ingredients that hard to do? I just do not get it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Short answer, because their lame.
They do not care what you are putting on your skin, regardless if it gives you results or not. It is an industry that brings in a lot of money, even if it means causing toxic effects to your health.

There are other safer alternatives to help you to achieve your goals, it will just take more effort and time by reading and researching the ingredients, finding real people's short term and long term results, if lab studies have been done on the product, reasons for banning if it had been banned in certain countries.

My Current Skin Lightening Regimen Is:
Neutrogena Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub (cleanser)
Tretinoin/Retin-A 0.05% (exfoliant)
All Day Chemist Hq 4% (lightener)
RX Suncare: Sport Sunblock SPF 50 (sunblock)

I see. yeah I guess they are then. I think if they are not all banned then maybe the manufacturers and the sellers should do time in jail and stripped from their business license. I think that's the only way. I have been reading about some of the skin lighteners on here that are safer, so I'l make a decision soon on what to try.

Governments need to be firmer on them. And Consumers need to be firmer with their selves on what they apply to the body.

Because for them it's all about money! They use synthetic chemicals because it is more cheap than natural ingredients. What a lame excuse!
