Aside from my favorite clay mask from Omorovicza, I love doing home made face mask, too.

I mix 2 tablespoons natural yogurt, 1 tablespoon honey, and banana. I learned it from Erin O'Connor. Loved it.

we can just see Lady Mary partaking in this pampering treat in her dressing room. To create it, you'll need one cup oatmeal; 1/2 cup dry lavender flowers, stripped of their stalks; 1/2 cup powdered milk; and two teaspoons cornmeal. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly combined, then massage onto damp skin, let sit for 10-15 minutes, and rinse. The scrub will keep for six months, so you can store the unused excess and whip it out on a weekly basis to maintain your creamy, lady-of-the-manor complexion.

You can follow these tips before applying a homemade face mask
1. Pull back hair, pin it up, tie it, just make sure they are out of the way.

2. Clean you face before applying the mask

3. Always apply with fingertips. Apply it over the forehad, cheek, nose, chip and neck.

4. Never apply the mask around the eye area. The eye area is really sensitive, so leave gaps underneath

5. Try to relax when you have put the mask on, try not to talk, and lie down. The best time to apply a mask is when you are soaking in a bathtub.

6. Leave on the mask for the recommended period of time, and not longer.

7. All masks come with instructions of application and removal of masks, try to follow them.

Hi there,

Face Mask Recipes

For oily skin - Milk of Magnesia is wonderful for people with oily skin and it’s simple to use. Just rub it thoroughly on the face and keep it on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

For neutral skin- Add one egg, half cup of cooked instant oatmeal and one-teaspoon olive oil and make a mixture. Apply it on the face and let it dry and then rinse it off under ordinary water.

For dry skin-Make a mixture of one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey, one teaspoon olive oil and one teaspoon vitamin E oil or baby oil (optional), if one feels one’s skin is extra dry or something on a particular day and apply it on the face and keep it on for around 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water and dry it off thoroughly with a towel.

hi there,

Here are some of the home made facial masks I have learnt from my mum. I have shared all the beneficial and really god facial mask. SO Enjoy and look gorgeous.

Egg Almond Facial Mask
This is very good for dry skin. Beat 1 egg and add 1 teaspoon of almond oil to it and mix it thoroughly and apply it on the face evenly and leave it on for around 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off after that with cold water. This facial mask leaves a glowing face for dry-skinned people since almond oil is known to play miracles on any sort of dry skin.

Cucumber Yogurt Facial Mask
Make a puree of ½ a cucumber and 1 tablespoon yogurt in a blender and apply it on the face evenly. Leave it on the face for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

Cornmeal Facial Mask
Take enough cornmeal which will be required for the face and mix it water and make a thick tight paste and apply it in circular motions to the face and then leave it on for 10-15 minutes or till it dries completely on the face and once it dries wash it off with cold water.

Banana Honey Yogurt Facial Mask
Mash a banana thoroughly and mix it with 1 teaspoon honey and 2 teaspoons yogurt and apply it on the face evenly. Leave it on the face till the skin absorbs it thoroughly and dries completely on the face and then rinse it off with cold water.

Avocado Facial Mask
Mash half an avocado and apply it on the face thoroughly everywhere and let it stay till it dries up completely and then wash it off with cold water.

Apple Facial Mask
Take a nicely ripe 1/4th apple and mash it with a fork and add 1 teaspoon oatmeal and 1 teaspoon honey to it and apply it on the face and leave it on till the mixture dries on the face thoroughly and then rinse it off with ordinary water. This is especially good for all types of skin in the autumn.

Yogurt Face Mask for All Skin Types

This simple (only two ingredients!) cooling mask is great for soothing a sunburnt face. It's great for all skin types.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tbsp natural yogurt, room temperature (not lowfat or non-fat)
1 tsp runny honey (microwave for a few minutes to soften hardened honey)
PREPARATION:
Combine mixture, then apply to face.
Let sit for 15 minutes.
Wash face with steaming washcloth.

I got some of my facial mask at Essenzza Health and I really love it. They sell different varieties of natural Japanese silk facial treatment mask and my current favorite is their anti aging facial mask with carrot seed and coconut oil. It has betacarotene which is known for its anti aging factor.

You write good tips of face mask tips.
This is more tips of home made face mask tips

Using vinegar as the skin toner dates back in the time of Helen of Troy, and it’s quite as effective today. After you wash that person, mix 1 tablespoon piece of fruit cider vinegar with 2 cups water as the finishing rinse to cleanse and tighten the actual skin. You can also establish a homemade facial mask by just mixing 1/4 cup cider vinegar with 1/4 cup standard water. Gently apply the answer to your face and allow it to sadly dry.

I use egg whites. Just beat one egg white until it is frothy. Spread it all over your face. Wait until it dries. Rinse it off. My face feels very clean and "tight" after this application. And then I use the yolk for cooking.

You can do just a plain honey facial! I do them all the time. You can just put on the honey right out of the jar. It's really good for your skin. Smile
