Ondine, I am sorry you are having problems making a new thread. I am not sure whether Golden Girl made a restriction on the number of posts that had to be made before a new thread could be made in this section, as you are the first person who has mentioned this problem. Golden Girl is away for a while, so won't be able to clarify this. So if you like I could start a thread on your behalf. HTH.

Thanks! That's nice of you. I wanted to begin a new topic in Skin Lightening about the reasons people choose to lighten their skin. This is not another dull "Why are you lightening your skin" thread meant to make members check in & report the reasons for their choices. I'm hoping members will engage in the discourse around who has the right to choose to lighten, why some cultures see it as an ordinary aesthetic process like tanning & why some restrict it to certain classes or contexts & why some force people into secrecy despite the practice being widespread. I want to call it: "The whos, whats, hows & whys of skin lightening". Pls let me know when Golden Girl has returned so I can ask her to fix the problem. Thanks again! -O

I personally think that no cream can change color, but yes if you want to make your skin glowing than you can try home remedies like you can you use besan and milk, it really help to make your skin glowing.
