First topic message reminder :

I need someone to help me. I wonder if there will be some kind of chemical reaction using Amlactin (lotion) mixed with MQ and Retin A? Well maybe leaving out the RA but MQ and Amlactin?
I'm thinking that to evenly mix the MQ I could use Amlactin as the base (it gives you the exfoliation that is needed and therefore allow the MQ to penetrate). Let me know what you guys think? I did chemistry in college but I'm worthless. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I too have questions in regards to mixing.
I took chemistry in high school and I took it in college but all I really know is acid = bad and water = good lol [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
My question would be what kind os lotion should I mix hq with? I shea butter o.k. ?
Should I mix one whole bottle of hq with a whole bottle of retin a and if so is there a particular container I should use? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Thanks to all that answer [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Is your hq in powder form?
I know hq dissolvein water, and eucerin cream is good option as base forit.
Regarding retin a,

Due to degradation of Retinol that occurs in air exposure and during storage, I really don’t think it is good idea to mix it, better apply it from the tube, and leave it on for an hour before applying your HQ

If it is already mixed, you have to be careful what kind of base you chose for it, because if it is oil based, and you chose water based cream, they will not be miscible in each other.

What exactly are you trying to do? Dilute it?? If so to what percentage? How much is there in stock bottle?

I was thinking of cream form simply because I am unsure about mixing and I know oxidation can occur.
Is there more in powder form?
I don't think I cn buy eucerin in the states

Alizee hi. Eucerin can be bought at any cvs or store in the States. My next mix, I will be using the eucerin. Why would you want a cream to mix your HQ and RA in? Are you trying to lower the percentage of your HQ? RA and HQ can be mixed together but we normally just take a tad of RA and a tad of HQ and mix it in our palms and just apply. I love your avatar by the way! Good luck!

Oh no I meant the hq. I want the cream form because I am unsure about mixing with the powder form.
Right now I am using F&W and will see how that works for me.
I really want to lighten my whole body not just face, neck, and arms.

Thanks for the avatar compliment lol. I saw it and it made me smile plus I like cats; not in a crazy cat lady way though lol

LOL@ Alizee. Why don't you order from ADC? The price is cheap and it's 4% HQ which is safer, you just add a tad to your hand along with a tad of RA. I would suggest applying to damp body because it spreads more evenly.
Give the product you are using a couple more weeks before you decide what you want to use.

yeah I have decided to ue this product thn give my opinion on it. The one thing thatiI am worried bout isredarkening after using it.I have anice medium to light brown complexion and want to get a tan or olver color but I really do not want to get darker then I naturally am lol.
Iam torn between using hq4% with ret a or using the mq and then using hq(there are so many "Q"s out there lol) for maintance

I hear ya! I bet the darkening won't be so bad though and it's better to experience it now than later. Think of the great skin you will achieve down the road.
