What are your thoughts on this? What if I should mix Nadinola and 20 grams of MQ together along with RA? Anyone tried this before? Let me know what you think.

Now Mq is stronger than Hq, hence faster results, like mono is faster than Mq, why would you want to mix mq with Hq? It is like mixing mono with Mq?? There is no point, plus mixing two different ingredients which have not been studied to be mixed, you risk other complications, sometimes things work better alone, once you mix them other things might happen.

thats interesting...why not? I'm currently using mequinol with other lighteners...I've tried used mequinol with Tretinoin alone...it didn't produce great results when used on a daily bases...however I find that it works best when used once or twice a week!

for me when used to often there was alot of redness irritation and some serious hyperpigmentation!

but now that I'm using it with the kligman formula, and some of the Arbutine Complex (which I dont think is helping that much) I'm wielding better results!

however due to my kamikaze routine in the past with fair and flawless (couldn't afford them aanymore!), and mequinol and Tretinoin my skin has been thinned a bit...to the point where i ccan no longer wear jeans pants as they tend to bruise my legs only after an hour of wear...the constant chafing..

so right now I'm using Kligman's formula (hydroquinone, tretinoin, neoprosone) which is working quite well! however due to all the scars from the damage my jeans did to my legs I have alot of hyper pigmentation to get rid of on my legs...but tretinoin is magic I'm being patient! I need to be consistant with my rroutine but if I apply twice a day but the end of the week my new lighter skin gets very red! so red that it looks like my color came back but it didnt! I just cant stand the redness it looks like I just got out of a fight! I think its the neoprosone(steroid) or a burn due to the tretinoin...I'm not sure

oh by the way I went from a jannet jackson color to right now a few shades rihanna and yes people are talking!

so far its going good some days are a better than others and there are days when my skin looks great...and there are days when its like blah!! but there are some resistant areas on my body and I still have uneveness! I wanna get rid of all of that...I know this regimen takes like a year to whiten one's entire skin tone but I cant help but think that I need some assistance with some thing stronger...thats why I ordered some mono!

DONT SHOOT! lol

sara wrote:That could be right GG, Gel has high alcohol content ,I think the effectiveness of solage is due its high alcohol content, although it is mainly 2% but it has 77% alcohol, which means all the 2% is totally absorbed.

I tried high alcohol content with my mono, not that high but up to 20% but alcohol and mono is very strong stuff, it is very irritant so I cut down but I know the speed was much faster with high alcohol content.

based on my research and the people I've spoken too, um in theory...well not only in theory there is evidentiary support for this, however finding the exact statistics have proven to be rather difficult lol as no one really cares about funding studies to find a safe and effective way to depigment regular skinned individuals!

but using mono with in retin A should produce a significat differnce in the results as to just using mono on its own...I'm not sure if using hydroquinone with it would do much...it might help then again it might not...but um...ya I'm gonna expierment with mono a little bit cause there is some stuff I really want gone...however mono travels through the anotomy...so lets say you apply some on your leg..ya that could start to depigment but so could some other random spot on your body...

however in theory again...since tretinoin acts as a pentran and speeds up cell turn over...it could speed up the results of mono to the point where you could accomplish your goal before there is any damage and appart from that tretinoin does wonders for damage control where hydroquinone, steroids, and mequinol are concered...who's to say it wont do the same for monobenzone! remember this stuff has never been tried before...again no one cares about a bunch of dark skinned people lightening their skin, except for Dr. thienna who is really making a furtune off of poor misinformed people! sulfur will NOT lighten your skin to a noticable extent period!

but yes! this is an exciting a trip! have you all started with your mono yet...cause I'm gonna start really soon I gonna use it with tretinoin...

if you all have...how has it been going for you?

Both Mq and Mono dissolve in ethanol, I know that Mq is less harsh than mono but trying high alcohol content is better option for faster, the problem is that most of the Mq you guys get it is already peppered. Adding alcohol on top will just not work.

HI sweetie Enticing,

Only this morning I was going to pm ondine and see if she had heard from you and lo and behold, I find you here !!

sara is away on holiday, so you may have to wait a while to get a response I am afraid. I know that there are others interested in mono, but I believe at present she is the only one who has actually used it here.

Don't worry I won't shoot you for yor choice. I am sure you have done your reading and understand the problems asscociated. Besides I know what you are like in terms of making up your mind. I also trust that you have managed to find a reliable legit source for your mono.

Let us know how you get on.

enticing could you explain what the neoprosone is for. I am still deciding on what to try on my face. I was thinking about trying makari again with retin A but have also thought about the retin A with hq, but have not come across this neoprosone.

OHHHHHHHH MYYYY DEAR!!! MY DEAR!!! SOOO NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

yes Ondine and I have been talking and discovering some very very very interesting things! but shhhh!!! all in god time my beautiful MAHARANI! I will be putting up a video and I will ask Ondine and lightenNlif to let the members of skin care know!

I'm done with skincare talk, I've been banned one to many times for standing up for my self and other people who contribute intellectually and positively to the forum. I'm so tired of the ignorance, favoritism and blatant assults!

I'm going to be a full time member at skinphilosophy from now on! I've been reading the posts...people here are intellegent they posses a great level of couth.

I'm so tired of the newbies, homophobia and the disgusting attitudes at skincaretalk, I dont need them, I only converse with a handful of people there and I dont need skincaretalk to do that...I'm tring to encurage lightenNlift and Ondine to come over here I know they'd love this environemnt much better!

hey Kim! the NEOPROSONE GEL FORTE is a gel which contains Betamethasone and Neomycin Sulphate! what Ondine and I were tring to do is use kligman's formula for depigmentation. (kligman's formula consists of Hydroquinone, Tretinoin and a potent steroid)

Betamethasone is steroid by the way and Neomycin assists!

What the steroid does is increase in the inhibiting action of hydroquinone! thus speads up the depigmentation process! unfortuanately the company which manufactures neoprosone (the one we use and is the only one that works!)has stopped! you can still purchase Neoprosone forte gel online but you'll only be able to do so until the stores run out of it! however Ondine and I have discovered other forms of steroid that are just as or even more effective off of alldaychemist! that even makes it easier as we order our hydroquinone and Tretinoin off that site! Very Happy its called Mometasone Fumerate!

enticing thanks for explaining that. I am a little bit scared of the idea of using steroids on my skin. Even HQ worries me a bit. I just really want to get a lighter tone without the awful spots I got from the last thing I tried. I guess if I don't get the results I want then it is something I can consider.

Retin A (Tretinoin) combats all the negative effects of the steroid and Hydroquinone! I've said this before and I'll say it again Retin A is gold in a tube!

Retin A is used to treat ochronosis in patients in Africa! When used with Hydroquinone your chances of deveoloping Ochronosis or any negative result with hydroquinone is near imposible!

make sure you use Tretinoin with EVERY application! I advice 0.1 percent Retin A. it has sooo many benifits! you'll be fine if you use this stuff with Retin A!

one of the worlds most renowned dermatologist (kligman) proves this! there is 40 years of research backing this up! Very Happy

what I'm a bit on edge about is mono...so far all I've read are very educated theories...but I wanna try it...I'm gonna be using it with Retin A and I'm gonna be very cautious...omg

I dont know rainbow thats the thing...i have so much to show you guys in the video! I really love this forum sooo much...its so nice a small...i hope it doesn't grow to fast...i like the little community that i have now.

i got soo much chafing from my jeans and also i think i scratch my self in my sleep cause you know the retin A itches...

but based on whats written on the mono instructions paper and stuff...once your pigment isn't superfical or it isn't caused by...

hold this is what it says:

Benoquin Cream is 20% purified Monobenzyl ether of hydroquinone (MONOBENZONE CREAM USP) in a special base.

Action and uses:

Benoquin cream exerts a powerful inhibiting effect on pigmented formation in the melanin producing cells of the skin.

Benoquin cream can be used for patients with Generalized vitiligo who wish to achieve uniform colour

"benoquin cream cannot be expected to treat hyperpigmentation from pigments other than melanin, these include bile, silver, or artifical pigments incorperated into the skin. it has not proven of value in the treatment of cafe au lait sports pigmented navi, or in malignant melanoma"

Administration

1. Benoquin Cream is rubbed into the desired areas of the skin two or three times daily until desired degree of depigmentation is obtained.

2. Exposing the treated areas to sunlight should be avoided since ultraviolet radiant tends to neutralize the depigmentation action of the drug.

3. Depigmentation is usually observed after one to four months of daily application.

4. At times a burning sensation of five to twenty minutes duration may be experienced shortly after application of the cream. the burning sensation will, as a rule disappear after several weeks of use and does not require discontinuation of therapy.

5. After the desired depigmentation is obtained, only apply the cream only as necassary to maintain the results, treatment may be as infrequent as two applications peer week.

CAUTION:

In some individuals excessive and irreversible loss of pigmentation may be caused by this preperation. A small number of patients will develop some degree of skin irritation or sensitization ranging from erythema to dermatics, Clinical results do not appear to be affected. Spacing treatments further apart and permitting dermatitis to subside will surface in most instance.

Now there is nothing in there based on what I've read that says or implies that some one without vitiligo cannot use this stuff and expect fabulous results...I think its how you use it!

ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE COME ONLINE AND SCREAMED THAT THEY GOT DISFIGURED AND ALL NEVER TRIED MONO FROM THE TUBE! THEY ALL BOUGHT POWDERS! POWDERS THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW ANY THING ABOUT...THATS IF IT WAS MONO TO BEGIN WITH...THEY ALL BOUGHT THESE POWDERS...MIXED IT THEM SLEVES AND OMG..

THIS STUFF STATES CLEARLY AND PRECISELY WHAT IT DOES...AND ITS ONLY FOR ONE THING...AND BASED ON WHAT THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY...MONO IS NOT PERMANENT...IT MIGHT BE IN SOME CASES AND SOME INDIVIDUALS....BUT TREATMENT MUST BE MAINTAINED TO KEEP UP RESULTS.

as I said I'm not gonna try it now...cause I still wanna clear up some stuff with the hydroquinone...

um....for those of you going to try the steroid with the hydroquinone and tretinoin...hold off on the steroid for a while...because I think this unplesant redness is because of the steroid...um...I'll talk about that more in my video...

i tried using hydroquinone, and tretinoin without the steroid for two days and I think the redness was going away...it was really interesting...you can get good results without the sterioid...but it will definately take a longer time...one thing when I use the steroid my scars turn fire truck red..its like they're glowing.

the mequinol does a good job too but its not something I would apply everyday..but for some reason it helped a bit...but I'm gonna try without the steroid for a while...

also I think it was the steroid which made my nipples pink bit but I just cant stand the redness all over my body...

I think the mequinol, hydroquinone, Tretinoin and mono would make for an EXCELENTE Skin lightening regimen, however I would NOT recommend mixing them in the palm of your hand all at once and applying!

it would be good to switch it up ONE THING IS FOR SURE! USING TRETINOIN WITH ALL OF THEM WOULD BE THE BEST IDEA!!!!!! AS TRETINOIN MAKES EVERYTHING WORK BETTER AND IS JUST GOLD IN A TUBE!!!! ONE OF THE BEST CREATIONS EVER!

PS: WALK WITH AN UMBRELLA AND USE SUN BLOCK! THE SUN IS THE DEVIL! IT CAN REALLY MESS YOU UP! ALOT OF THE TIME PEOPLE DONT GET EVEN RESULTS BECAUSE THEY DONT APPLY EVENLY OR THEY TAKE THE SUN FOR GRANTED....PEOPLE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND HOW SERIOUS SUN AVOIDANCE WHEN IT COMES TO SKIN LIGHTENING...YOU ALMOST HAVE TO AVOID IT 100% I UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE A LIFE...GET AN UMBRELLA WEAR YOUR SUN BLOCK EVEN DURING WINTER AND CLOUDY DAYS THERE IS NO AVOIDING IT!

YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOU SUN AVOIDANCE SERIOUSLY!

umbrella or no umbrella i get called fagot all the time...fagot...homo...gay boy! p***y! i've been called every name in the book...as kid it almost killed me...as a teenager it bothered me...as an adult i dont give a d**n! and as much verbal assults I recive I recive just as many comments!

I've seen how damaging the sun can be! and lets not lie people with sun damage especially people of color LOOK VERY UNATTRACTIVE AND UGLY...by what society's set and imposed standards are...so I'm gonna allow the sun to damage me becauase of what people are gonna say? and is that gonna make a difference after I'm damaged? their gonna find some thing else to say! instead of just fagot they're gonna say "ugly fagot"....to bad....i'm holding up my umbrella everyday..I go onto the bing website and I look at the UV scale...they've got the hourly forcast...the UV rays goes up to level 10 at between 12-3 pm on some days...even during winter sometimes...h*ll no!!!

Kim these same people who are gawping are going to be living at the dermatologist's office in the next 10-20 years when they've realized that they've aged dramatically and they look way older than they really are!

the sun is responsible for 90% of the wrinkles you get...I know this information and I'm gonna go frolic with the devil! NO NO NO !!! NO!!! AND THE SUN IS THE DEVIL!

I just gotta get rid of these scars and I haven't really decided how light I'm going to go...but one thing's for sure...I have the ammunition to blast my pigment into the next century! and I'm going to protect my skin from the devil's h*ll while doing so!

Umbrella's all the way!!!! Smile
