i have a dark skin ( dark african skin) and i want to lighten just a little bit....say to light brown. how do i do that for the whole body naturally without side effects???

i'm not sure of what products you have tried already but i hear by using authentic black soap and papaya soap seperatley on a regular basis along with some sort of exfoliating cloth will help you shed outer layers of your skin and will eventually reveal newer lighter skin but its very impotant to protect your new skin with a reealy good sun screen i have heard that shea butter is a natural and excellent one to start with especially while using black soap and papaya soap which are both very drying to the skin as far as side effects goes i havent heard of one thing that doesnt have a side effect because no matter what it all boils down to how your skin will respond to the product kogic acid soap is a good one for skin lightening but i know its harsh on some skin types if i can give you any advice sister its before you buy anything research the product/ingredients/reviews like crazy and always perform a small test on your skin before you use on your whole body i hope this helps
