I am serious about working on my body now and have been trying to get hold of some glytone. It is very very expensive in the UK and even on ebay the prices are high. I found this website where the prices are relatively ok and the shipping was good too. So for anyone interested here goes

I came across this product about a year ago but was put off by the price. I was not sure how long it would last but that link makes it more affordable. Let me know what you think when you get it

Yes I will. I don't know how long it will take to get to the UK but I have received confirmation that it has been dispatched. Only delay will be that we have had the bank holidays but hopefully it it won't be too long before it gets here

The main purpose is for good exfoliation and therefore it means that whatever lightener you use penetrates more effectively. There may be some lightening for those with sun damage who get the damaged skin removed as the skin exfoliates

The glytone arrived todaay so took just under 2 weeks to arrive in the UK and that included 4 bank holidays so that was not too bad. Will tell you what I think next time, as I have not tried it yet

So I tried the glytone this morning. The instructions say that it is best used after a bath and is NOT to be used on the face. It has a thick consistency and sinks in well. I find it really moisturising and even after several hours my skin feels supple. Really pleased with just that first application

Not KIM, but I have been trying this out for a few days or so. I only use it on the areas that seem to be dry or thickened, so my knees, feet, backs of legs. The bottle does not look like it would last for very long if you used it everywhere, although a little seems to go a long way and it does make your skin nice and soft. I am using it on it's own but hopefuly wil introdce a lightener later on. I just want to get my skin in tip top condition

lol angeleyes you are doing what I am doing. It is far too expensive to be slathering it everywhere and I am concentrating on the areas that need the most work. I agreee that it makes the skin very supple and it seems to stay like that for the whole day not like some other creams where the effect quickly disappears. rainbow there has been no peeling for me as yet but it has only been a couple of days or so. I think that not everyone sees peeling anyway.

You know I would say that I have soft skin but this product just adds a little more and makes my skin feel even more touchable. I hope the effect lasts overtime. I know some products give this initial effect and then overtime it does not seem to have the same results.

Will have to put this on my "to buy list" as I have just purchased the obagi and really cannot afford another expensive product at the moment. Sad

Kim Let me know if/when you see peeling & then I may seriously think about getting this for my body. yogi it may be better to wait to hear a bit more. Half the time soemthing comes along and then it isn't worth trying anyway. I have decided I will wait for more reviews before jumping on the bandwagon in future. Failing that we will have a whip round & try and get you some LOL

Yes I will let you know. Soo far no peeling but as I mentioend before not everyone does see peeling. For now I am just experiencing super soft skin. I will keep doing this for a while and then introduce some lightening cream or lotion. Actually rainbow I am glad you said that to yogi as I hate the thought of someone wasting money just becuase I said that I like a product.

well one minute "X" is the product to buy & then it's "Y". Better to see how it pans out before you spend all that money

My house is getting a bit like that now. I need to sort it all out before things go out of date & are no good. Some products I cannot even remember what they are because I remove labels in case any nosey people start prying into my business LOL Just means it gets confusing as to what is what

I have had to do that with my nadinola and adc hydroquinone because I don't want my Mom questioning me. I doubt she would know what retin a is for but the nadinola definitley says lightening if I remember rightly so would be a dead giveaway. I don't want her worrying that I am wanting to change myself, Mind you most of the problem is from all this sun and not having proper protection so I guess I am just bringing my tone back up

lol sounds like we are all up to the same thing. I tend to scratch out the words that would give the game away rather than remove the whole label though.

What you going to tell your Mum when you start lightening up?

That sounds like a better idea. I have to use that in the future, then at least I would have a better idea what I am using. I went through my drawers and there are several opened jars that I have no idea what is in them so have had to chuck them because I do not even know how long they have been there
