Quiet Type
1. FOLLOWING THE DAILY
RITUALS:

No matter what your skin type, cleansing, hydrating, and toning your
skin must be part of your daily rituals. The first thing which you need
to do before applying anything on your skin is cleansing. It removes
dirt and extra oil from your skin. Cleansing your skin will not leave
space for acne as cleaning of the epidermis is necessary for healthy and
shining skin. Toning is the second step to be performed in the skin
care process. It removes the traces left by cosmetics cleansers and
regulates its natural PH balance. It can also make the other products,
applied on your skin, more effective. Hydrating provides vital lipids
and replenishes moisture.

2. PROTECTING YOUR SKIN FROM
THE SUN:

Exposure to sun can cause fine and coarse wrinkles and discoloration.
Hence, you need to protect your skin from the sun. To protect your skin, apply a morning moisturizer with SPF to guard against harmful ultra
violet rays and environmental stressors.

Following the above tips is important
for good skin care but selecting the right products is another important
thing you need to consider. Before applying any product, check your
skin type and, if you have sensitive skin, consult your dermatologist.
Skin care is not a procedure but a process which has to continue through
all years of life.

The essentials: cleanser, toner, moisturizer, scrub/exfoliate, mask
Choose an anti-acne cleanser with either salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. If possible, choose a balancing cleanser (balancing products are for combination skin). You can buy a toner, or use Witch Hazel. Moisturizer is extremely important. A lot of people I know with oily or acne-prone skin won't use moisturizer because they want to dry out their primples, but that is WRONG! Lots of acne comes from your body fighting the lack of moisture. Most acne products are quite drying, anyways. Use cleaner, toner and moisturizer morning and night daily. Most people recommend using exfoliate 2-3 times a week, but I've found that combination skin (actually, skin in general) needs a bit longer to heal, so I recommend using a scrub/exfoliate once or twice a week. There 's lots of masks: anti-acne, peel, clay, mud, etc. You can buy a mask, or just put honey on your face for 5 minutes. You should do a mask about 3 times a week, depending on your preference.
To get rid of whiteheads (the little white bumps) and to prevent any more, do a homemade facial once a week (cleanse, exfoliate, steam your face, mask).
Good luck!!
