well it's not permanent The best way to get rid of a tan is to just be patient and let it fade away.

lol a perma tan ..is a tan that has been building up for years..

The best is to let it go away but if not, I would say peels and/or ret A will help.

ali 85% of my tan just builds up over the years the other 15% goes......

I really believe that a series of peels will help the sitaution. It is not going to happen overnight, but it should improve things. I must admit that you have been very patient collecting info before embarking on your regime. Come on, you must be dying to get things going now dizzellz112.

LOL maharani.. i went to barclays..yesterday..needed proof of id..they gave me a form to fill in..came back home..filled it in..then needed ma National Insurance number..i couldn't seem to find it..eventually i did.. today i'ma hand the form in.. and then they gonna send it off..and my new account will be open..fingers crossed


Vey Patient indeed it won't happen overnight..it'll take at least 2 years... to remove the tan......ondine and eggo...also getting rid of their tan and succeeding with Peels and retin a......and SAP

This nivea sunscreen is crap..even though its's spf 50..

how's the LRP one?

i need to find a physical sunscreen which contains zinc and titanium oxide...... as well as getting LRP..

I have found La Roche Posay to be fine, as I have not tanned, but like I mentioned before, I avoid the sun religiously, so that all helps.

At present it is mainly Retin A at night and vitamin C in the day. I will be going back to HQ shortly,

it's soo hard for me to avoid the bladdy fun......

To me, I find lactic acid peels 40-50% once a week can help get things going on removing tans. This has helped after about 4 aplications, that my tan from last summer on my arms were reduced.

I'll do 8 series of peels...with lactic acid...and have a 2 week break...and do a kojic acid peel every 2 weeks

and do a tca peel on my knees...knuckles......

No I'm not getting rid of a tan I do tan rather easily, but I must admit I enjoy the sun kissed skin lol plus it looks great in black

I just avoid the sun and borrow my friends indoor poool for recreation

No never sarcastic....Just glad you are able to get going......I have a feeling that once you start you will have lots of stories to tell us !!!

I am using the meroxyl XL spf 50.

Oooh and i am using the meroxyl on my face only at the moment. I am finishing off my neutrogena spf 70 on my hands and any other exposed areas. I also have a l'oreal brand that I use which is a kid's block on my body.

what happens if you use ra in the morning?

Since Ra makes skin more sensitive as it removes the top layer of skin and exfoliates, during the day our skin is more vulnerable to sun exposure. That is why it is mostly recommended for use in the evening. There may be other factors as well.

i got the times mixed up..and thought it was at 11..but it was at 10..
so i dashed outta bed and got ready and went straight outside...

i didn't get a chance to wear any sunscreen

and it's the hottest day

could you guys recommend a good sunscreen which prevents tanning?
