Sooo sorry guys but my job takes up my life in addition to all my family being so demanding. I am not really doing much to my skin now or am I as dedicated as I was before (truth be told). Not much to update... I went to the caribbean on vacation for a blissful, sun-filled, relaxing 1 month of heaven vacation. I had originally planned on staying for 2 weeks but hubby couldn't get enough of the beach and RUM!

UPDATE: Since July (beginning of) I had stopped using MQ mainly because my skin evened out nicely and I achieved what I set out to do (mainly that) AND... I just wanted to stop smelling like P!$$. Yes some of you will argue that it prevented another baby which I am more than thankful for but...I just could not stand the darn smell. Before leaving for vacation, I went to visit a friend of mine who owns a beauty supply store in Manhattan (one of the biggest) and I saw that they have the GG cream - pink jar (which of course is from the Ivory coast or something) I read the ingredients on the jar (mostly acids) and decided why not. The smell is pleasant and lo and behold there is no smell of unpleasant chemicals in this jar. The jar lasted me for about 3 weeks as I used this all over while I was on vacation- I used spread this on THICK and sometimes double but mostly twice per day. I also used up all my supplies of sunblock! I looked like a bronze goddess literally! I love the glow. Got back from vacation and a friend of mine said to me, you didn't get any sun? You look the same, you have not darken? How come? Secret formula is the GG and the sunblock. The GG helped my skin soooo much! It brightened my skin but I did not see lightening just basically kept me bright and maintaining my color, does that make sense? I looked lighter but in essence I was not, I was just more eventoned and brighter. After my jar finished I was going through my bathroom closets and found Tropiclair lotion with 2% HQ and cocoa butter and my 35% TCA. I decided to get creative with that (the idea came from Julia/e who once sold me tca cocktail {tca and some lotion mixed}). I dropped a few drops of the tca into a bout 1/2 bottle of the lotion, used some for a day just like using body lotion. After my bath that night I added more tca to the lotion for a stronger mix. I have been using this twice per day (most times) but usually just once at nights after my shower. MY skin peeled in sheets a little over a week after applying the lotion. My hands meaning my knuckles are CLEARER, my toes are awesome, more lightened and my entire body has lightened a bit. I will be using this mixture for another couple of weeks after which I will give my body time to rest just using HQ cream alone or just going back to get more GG cream. This I will do for just a month. I am planning on rotating my products, each month I will rotate between my cocktail, HQ and GG. My skin has this dewy, smooth, cool look and this has been the look that I wanted for so long! I keep admiring my skin daily always amazed at how great it looks and feels now. I am on my last batch of tca so I will have to order some more pretty soon. But I truly am in love with my skin! My overall complexion is just awesome! Oh by the way, my skin will shed once every 10-14 days. My palms are now in the process of shedding again (a cycle of about 2 wks from my last shedding). I used this cocktail on the soles of my feet too...great for exfoliation! One less expense to worry about! My feet are so soft and KISSABLE! LOL. My mom said that whatever I am doing to my skin, it is helping me look great .. I don't even have to wear makeup!! I will be stopping by now and again. Hope to hear your comments and/or thoughts.

Heyyyyyyyyy!!!! You had us worried there. I am happy to hear that you had what sounds like an idylic licquor filled break !!! And the icing on the cake is that you have come back even more gorgeous !!! Lucky you !! Thank you for sharing your current regime now. I also do a mixture of a lotion and lactic acid and my skin is feeling super soft, though not peeling . Am looking to increase the concentration, but taking things slowly as I don't want to overdo it.


Anyway, please do make sure that you put your head round the door from time to time. We have missed you !!!

Thanks Maharani! I don't drink so I was just stuck drinking water! LOL. But I love the ocean and the food! All that spice made me so hyper! I ate fruits galore and maybe that aided my skin to look awesome! I consumed mainly fruits for the entire 4 weeks I stayed there.
Wow lactic acid in lotion? I was reading some of the topics here and I noticed that. I might try that later on too. I am not looking to jump from golden to YELLOW/WHITE in weeks, I want my skin to take on a gradual, slow approach. MQ was doing great for me but I realized that if I continued applying twice per day or even once per day everyone would be all up in my business and I am not about to argue with daft and nosy people.

I have missed you all and of course now that I am settled back in the routine of things, I will visit more often!
