Hi,
I am new to the forum and was wondering if maybe foreign, particularly African countries have a wider access to skin lightner products. I know the FDA blocks many things in America that are available otc in other countries. Doews anyone know if there is special brand out there that works better ( or as good but cheaper $) than US products?

infact frankly speaking i am from west Africa and there are more skin lighteners allowed there than here in the us but it is the same try and error there isn't any guarrantee of a getting good product but majority are fake products there

Hi. Products with hydroquinone were banned in South Africa in 1994, but there are still some dodgy ones on the market. There is a product here that has kojic acid and rooibos extracts. I think I saw it on sale on ebay also

Yes. In west and south african it seems that the women are able to get dramatically lighter. For instance, MsHoza, there are no creams or clinics in North America that will lighten darkskin to that extent

She stated on a talk show once (3Talk with Noeleen) that she went outside the country to get the procedure done. She never mentioned the country. She said it was illegal here. So I think it could be hydroquinone...

That is the most dangerous thing. Beware of those fakes. It may cause severe damage to your skin and health.
