Newbie here so I'll start with a little background. I'm newer to the lightening process and have started using Nadinola 3%(I reside in U.S.), and the Palmer's fade milk for my body. I'm very dark skinned, almost an Alek Wek shade.
After reading and researching different lightening products and communities I still have several questions before I further my journey.
1. I've noticed a lot of products seems to work well, for lighter skinned individuals, but I was wondering what regimen(especially face), worked well for the very dark-skinned?

2. I've currently using Hq products right now but, need a fairly strong natural product for my daytime use since hq is iffy during those hours.

3. I've read a lot about Retin-A, but not sure about where to purchase it without a Rx, and do you have to mix it?

4. I've heard about kajie san soap and glytone as good exfoliators. Is one better than the other, and is a soap neccessary?

Any comments or tips are very appreciated Very Happy

Hi memoir_ofadolli
I have also been researching a few communities in search of the perfect skin lightening products for dark skin. So far, I've come to the conclusion that there are no quick fixes, I's all about trial and error. As long as you take the right combination of pills, exfoliate, use a bleaching cream that works for you and sunblock to protect all your hard work you should lighten....but you have to try an awful amount of products before you find 'The One'!
My next trial is going to be 55h+ serum.

SO We keep using different lotions without finding the right one. It is very money consuming and time wasting. Sad Evil or Very Mad so what do you think. please memoir of a doll inform me if the lotions are working for you at all, I am also very dark and have tried many things.

skin lighteners are REALLY bad for your skin, that's probably why you're not allowed to buy them. Anything that makes your skin lighter will be bad for your skin, because in effect you'll be bleaching it.

Dark skin is beautiful. Why don't you try wearing colours that compliment you, as you are. White clothes look great against dark skin, and bright colours that most people can't wear: torquoise, yellow, shocking pink. Try some of these colours with your make-up too. Torquoise eye-shadow looks fab with bright pink lipstick.

Most of us are over-critical about ourselves, and want what others have. But the trick to looking good is making the best of what you are, and as a result feeling like you look good, which makes you more fun to be around.

Really elegant, attractive women know what looks good on them, and dress & put make-up on to enhance their best features. Look at girls and women who look good closely -- you'll see this is true. It's not just something I'm saying to make you feel better, I promise! lol.

Dark skin tones are beautiful and can glow with consistency and the proper products. Dark skin tones also glow using powder bronzers that illuminate the skin.

Always gently cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize the skin. Do not scrub the skin roughly because this will injure the skin causing increased darkness and roughness to the area.

Using a vitamin C topical serum and taking at least 1000 mg. of vitamin C and E will make the skin glow.

If you use Hydroquinone (HQ)use reasonable doses 3-5% work well, but be faithful in applying it only at night. ALWAYS ALWAYS use sunscreen rain or shine!

I'm selling 3 sealed bottles of Glow2thione and 1 opened bottled. Plus 1 sealed bottle of Vitamine C 1000 mg with 250 pills, as you will need to take it with the whitening pills (gluthatione works better with vitamine c). I got my skin lightened 2 shades after taking them for only a couple of weeks. I got pregnant and the doctor told me to suspend the treatment that is why I am selling the pills. Contact me on sussmannr at gmail dot com and we can discuss the price, Im selling cheaper than in their website.

exfoliation is the key. i used exfoliating gloves in the shower on my body , moved up to using Asepxia soap, it had GA and SA in it. ( there are different types, ive only used the white bar so far ) from there i went to kojie sans ( didnt really like it) . after a while i upgraded to do a maxi -peel on my body ( takes about two bottles for entire body peel ) while i was peeling i used Dive pink soap.( without shower gloves) my regular soap is the Asepxia. i use it whenever im not peeling. Retin a is hard to find at a good price. in the past ive used maxi peel as a substitute, pro derma light carries RA gel for 19.99 and ADC has them . but right now im using a 2% retinol serum just because its easy to get hold of. im not suggesting anything to you im just saying this is what helped ME with my perma-tan some lighteners i love

If you want to lighten for dark skin, you should keep your dark skin or your age from getting darker to keep your skin out of the sun. You should get Vitamin D3 levels checked if you're worried that lack of sunlightsunlight.
