Making Old Faces Young...The Natural Way

Making one’s face look younger is everyone’s dream. There are people who resort to different methods - even the most expensive ones - just so they’d get that “look young, feel young” atmosphere. But to those who can barely afford it, the “attempt” is considered a vice. Most of the time, you’d hear from these people the line, “Why would you interfere with nature’s course?” But those who want to preserve the youth as they add up years would say, “Why not age with grace?”

This does not only apply to women who are known to be vain in nature but for the men as well.
How is applying friction on the skin done? With the help of some lotion to minimize irritation (not too much lotion, though, as there will be no more friction), work on the areas that normally results to sagging such as the cheeks, the throat, the chin, the forehead and around the eyes. Start as though you are polishing a pair of shoes: with a slight, circular friction on the surface areas, which should gradually increase in pressure but not too vigorous that you will end up abrading and irritating your face. This process will progressively restore the elasticity of your skin and smoothen out the wrinkles.

To exercise your facial muscles, use your palm heel. With enough pressure, massage your cheeks and other parts of the face in circular motion. This process will build up the muscles and fill those “hollows”, those sunken areas around the eyes and the cheeks. Do this also on the chin and throat. Make sure you apply equal amount of pressure to the entire face so that the build up of muscles will be uniform.

Do these exercises a few minutes everyday--even while you are watching the TV-- and you will soon see the “miracle” of a younger looking you. The process of looking older does not have to be as fast as it is now. With the right determination, and knowing the proper techniques, you can almost stop the advance of the “aged” look, no matter that your actual age is unstoppably moving ahead. It’s been proven possible and there’s no reason you can’t achieve the same.

What age is best to start using antiaginf treatments? Because I'm still pretty young, but I sometimes think I am in the middle with skin isn't of a 14 yr old anymore but the acne remains.

As long as your an adult and not a minor. Some may be able to slightly see minor effects of aging in their mid 20s+, and for others this may take much longer. Learning to care for your body on the inside and outside at an early adult age may help slow the slight appearance of aging.

I also think being "sun wise" can also contribute to keeping the aging process back. Making sure that you use good protection and where possible avoid prolonged sun exxposure.

yeah I agree. sunblock, sun hats, and decreasing the amount of sun exposure are crucial to being sunwise.

Unfortunately, it can make you seem anti-social too. I was thinking today, when my boyfriend said "It's a lovely day, we should do something" that this was my idea of h*** at the moment. I would not even mind but it is still very early spring and not even hot, but I just can't bear to be in the sun.

He bought a convertible a few years back and if you had seen my face when he pulled up, you would have all laughed !!! Any girl would have loved the idea, but I was just thinking how the h*** am I going to avoid this darn sun now !! LOL

The sun our blessing. our curse [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
A good investment also would be sun hats, farmer's hats, an umbrella. It may look somewhat silly but it'll be worth the try.

Summer is coming up soon too....

how much sun exposure does everyone absorb daily? I try to limit as much as I can, with everything there is some sacrafice in order to receive what you are seeking...in fact I think I would look pretty good carrying my unbrella in the middle of summer lol. But, I still try to get in as much vitamin D as I can through supplements and food.

I wonder if I can get away with walking with an umbrella in the summer here in the States?

I have my trusted visor which goes everywhere with me and is bigger than average. Not sure how I would cope without it really. Even wear it in the winter because I am that paranoid of the sun.

I would love to be able to put an umbrella up in the summer but I know that the strange looks would start heading my way. My Mum who has sensitive skin like me, does put her normal rain umbrella up when the sun is really strong but I think she can get away with it as she is older and people are maybe a little more understanding. It is just hard in the UK, when it seems that everyone is trying to get as much sun as possible, for me to be trying at all costs to avoid it.

You should see, as soon as a liitle sun comes out, everyone goes mad like they have never seen the sun before.

I have seen a lot of oriental people using their umbrellas in the summer, but again it seems to be accepted. I know that being black that it would be a case of people saying, "surely YOU like the sun". I get tired of telling people that I have sensitive skin and I have burnt in a short space of time and even whilst wearing sun protection.

lol..how many hours of sun is shown during the day Maharani? Here in the South we have our very cold days and extreme humid sunny days and eah year it seems to get worse. In Ethiopia some women would carry umbrellas and if I move back, I'llbe doing the same thing next time. But, here in the South I can imagine it now [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] that is what I'll look to everyone unless it's raining outside. Kandiluv you maybe able to get away with it.

Maybe I should focus on cooler places like Canada..

Actually, is there anyone else on here who goes shade hunting like me? I will cross over the road several times to get in the shade. I go faster if I am in an unavoidable sunny spot. It is really annoying a the moment, as I have taken up trying to walk in the mornings and it just seems like the SUN comes out just as I leave my house and says goodbye as I go back in. I swear it's true

And as for people thinking London is always raining, it is SO not true. The sun just keeps coming out to bother me. LOL

Actually was just thinking GG, correct me if I am wrong but weren't you in training for the marathon ? How are you coping with all that outdoor activity? Are you still with that same trainer, who was studying your face instead of your technique ? LOL

lol...don't remind me. I decided to later choose one that is scheduled in a less humid and sunny time of the year and ended the training back in early January. I do feel a bad about it though, just didn't want to risk losing what I had so far gained and marathons I can always join. At the time we did move the training to outdoors though strictly early mornings or right after sunset which helped, but hm staring and analyzing..I think he tried to figure what the difference was.

The why did we cross the road situation, I agree too much of an expense. And I have crossed the road towards the shade without thinking twice about it, or any shade. There were times I may use a sheet of paper if I have available over my head when walking out on those sunny days. My friends sometimes ask and I say how the sunlight in my eyes just makes me squint too much.
