Is Kojic Acid safe? Does it lighten quickly? If so, please name a few over the counter lighteners that contain Kojic Acid. Would I need to mix Kojic Acid with RA as well?

well ive tried Kojic acid soap
it works AMAZING, but the only reason why i stopped is because i buy it from the philippines, meaning, i buy it over the net and it takes 30 business days to get to me...
i must say it really helped me with some black blemishes i had on the sides of my biceps..they well like pimples i had when i was young and the mark never went away so i bought it and didnt even think it could remove it but wow its gone...
its safe to use, i like it but i dont find shops in s.a that sell it.

RA is retin A, an exfoliating and skin renewing agent. It is potent stuff and is used for acne but is also known for it's anti aging benefits and the fact that it helps brighten ones skin tone.


kojic acid can be irritating to some as far as I remember. Not sure of any over the counter products

aaaaah ok now i know. Well, i never used it on my face though,in fact,i dont use any lightening agent soap on my face,just lightening creams. Soap gives me pimples so i didnt try to use it on my face. Dear, i must say i took a huge risk by buying soap that came from a seller but had no specific company! It was written "kojic soap" ONLY but i tried it and nothing went wrong,but i must say i was scared at first til i saw progress. The was name. U can email/phone her or view her site. I think Kojic Acid is not safe because I used Kojic Acid soap and other product and my face broke out.Try a natural skin lightener but in the mean time, use RA to get rid of your bumps and/or acne.

BUT EVEN USE BAR OF SOAP ON THE FACE? LIQUID FORM IS THE ONLYWAY TO KEEP FACE LOOKING YOUNG AND SUIPPLE, KOJIC ACID AND OTHER WHITENING SOAP BARS SHOULDNT BE USED ON THE FACE.
FACE IS TOO FRAGILE FOR LOTS OF ALKALINITY. USE LIQUID FOR THAT DOESNT CONTAIN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (YOU WILL BREAK OUT IF YOU BUY PRODUCT WITH A LOT OF THIS INGREDIENT)

Yes for some Kojic acid can be very irritating. It is always best to find what works best for you. I have used KA soap myself a while back and though it never broke me out I found it very drying.

yeah! exactly, S.L.S is the ingredient that is somtime too exageratted in soap bars, some companies are clever to put some "shea butter" or "essential oils" to avoid that from happening but things such a KA cannot be easily combined with oil so it is always safer to buy and use it on your body.
